Thank you for your support of Alibaba Cloud E-MapReduce (EMR) product. In order to provide a more comprehensive service system, and provide more convenient cluster operation, maintenance methods and better user experience, Alibaba Cloud has launched a new version of EMR console.
The Data Development feature in the old EMR console will be gradually offline by region. This feature was stopped updating on February 21, 2022 at 21:00(UTC+8) and entered the maintenance state. It is planned to stop comprehensive support from September 30, 2023 at 00:00(UTC+8), including no longer supporting user questions, problem solving, SLA guarantee compensation, and other services. The service will be terminated from March 30, 2024 at 00:00(UTC+8), and you will not be able to use the Data Development feature of the old EMR console.
If you need to continue using EMR workflow and task scheduling services, please migrate your Data Development projects to EMR Workflow before March 30, 2024(UTC+8). Failure to complete the migration on time will result in the loss of all resources such as projects, workflows, and jobs in Data Development.
EMR Workflow in the new EMR console is a fully managed workflow and task scheduling service that is 100% compatible with open-source Apache DolphinScheduler. It provides easy-to-use scheduling services, and you can easily manage workflows and tasks through a visual operation interface to efficiently build data warehouses and ensure stable operation of production tasks.
