Alibaba Cloud plans to stop selling PolarDB Oracle syntax compatible version 1.0. If you are currently using this product or have plans to purchase it in the near future, please pay special attention to the following information.
End of Sale Date: March 31, 2024 (GMT+8)
End of Renewal Date: September 30, 2024 (GMT+8)
End of Service Date: March 31, 2025 (GMT+8)
Product: Oracle syntax compatible version 1.0 of PolarDB for PostgreSQL (Compatible with Oracle)
Impacts:
1. As of the end-of-sale date, all instance types of Oracle syntax compatible version 1.0 of PolarDB for PostgreSQL (Compatible with Oracle) with subscription or pay-as-you-go billing method will no longer be available for sale.
2. Before the end-of-renewal date, the renewal function for existing instances of PolarDB Oracle 1.0 will not be affected.
3. As of the end-of-renewal date, all new features, patches and hotfixes will no longer be updated for Oracle syntax compatible version 1.0 of PolarDB for PostgreSQL (Compatible with Oracle). And the renewal function for existing subscription instances will no longer be provided.
4. Before the end-of-service date, functions including configuration change can still be performed for existing instances of PolarDB Oracle 1.0.
5. As of end-of-service date, instance access, after-sales service, ticket service, documentation, etc., for the relevant product will no longer be provided.

• If you plan to purchase PolarDB Oracle syntax compatible version 1.0, considering that the product lifecycle is coming to an end, we suggest you choose PolarDB Oracle syntax compatible version 2.0. This version is not fully compatible with version 1.0, but offers significant performance improvements over version 1.0.
