In line with the latest tax policy enforced by the Malaysian government, starting from 1 March 2024, the Malaysian Service Tax ("Malaysian ST") that Alibaba Cloud should collect from users registered in Malaysia will be increased from 6% to 8%. In general, 6% Malaysian ST will be charged on services consumed before 1 March 2024. 8% Malaysian ST will be charged on services consumed on and after 1 March 2024. All Malaysian ST collected will be remitted to the relevant Malaysian tax authority.
